Adamas Eduardas Alksnis (latv. Ādams Eduards Alksnis, Alksne 1864 m. vasario 27 d. Mazsalaca, Valmieros apskritis – 1897 m. rugpjūčio 9 d. Ryga) – latvių tapytojas, grafikas. Vienas latvių nacionalinės tapybos mokyklos pradininkų.

Biografija

Mokėsi Rygos vokiečių amatų mokykloje, 1883–1892 m. su pertraukomis studijavo Sankt Peterburgo dailės akademijoje, 1888 m., 1891 m., 1892 m. gavo paskatinamuosius medalius. Devintame-dešimtame dešimtmetyje Sankt Peterburge vadovavo latvių dailininkų būreliui „Rūkis“.

Kūryba

Sukūrė piešinių, akvarelių, tapybos kūrinių latvių valstiečių buities („Kelyje“ 1895 m., „Į darbą“, „Artojas“, „Sėjėjas“, visi 1896 m.), istorijos temomis, peizažų, portretų.[1] Mirė jaunas, paliko daug piešinių, akvarelių ir tik kelis tapybos darbus. Jo darbų turi Latvijos nacionalinis meno muziejus.[2]
