Kitos reikšmės – Trakėnai (reikšmės).

Trakėnai – Rytų Prūsijoje, visai netoli Lietuvos buvusiame Trakėnų dvare sukurta jojamųjų žirgų veislė.^[1] 1732 m. Prūsijos karaliaus Frydricho Vilhelmo I pavedimu Trakėnuose įsteigtas karališkasis žirgynas. Jame Mažosios Lietuvos žirgai buvo kryžminami su anglų, arabų ir kitų veislių žirgais. Kuriant trakėnų veislę buvo naudojami ir žemaitukai. Dabar trakėnai paplitę visame pasaulyje. Jų aukštis per gogą 162–165 cm. Žirgų galva išraiškinga, kaklas elegantiškas, krūtinė siaura. Būna įvairaus plauko (t. y., spalvų).
