Stanislovas Algimantas Balčiūnas (g. 1943 m. liepos 5 d. Trumpaliai, Utenos apskritis) – Lietuvos pedagogas, žurnalistas, redaktorius.

Biografija

1962 m. baigė Užpalių vidurinę mokyklą, 1967 m. – Vilniaus pedagoginiame institute biologijos–chemijos specialybę. 1965–1967 m. šio instituto savaitraščio „Tarybinis pedagogas“ atsakingasis sekretorius.

1967–1968 m. Molėtų rajono Suginčių vidurinės mokyklos mokytojas, direktoriaus pavaduotojas, 1969–1971 m. – Ambraziškių 8–metės mokyklos direktorius, 1971–1973 m. – „Lietuvos buitinės chemijos“ Projektavimo konstravimo biuro vyresnysis inžinierius. 1973–1979 m. laikraščio „Komjaunimo tiesa“ literatūrinis darbuotojas, mokyklų skyriaus vedėjas. Nuo 1979 m. – žurnalo „Švyturys“ Politikos ir mokslo skyriaus redaktorius. Parašė per 300 straipsnių mokslo, švietimo, ekologijos, teisės, politikos temomis. Nuo 1996 m. – UAB „Sodra–press“ direktorius, [1] nuo 2000 m. firmos „Baltijos pranešimai“ leidybos direktorius, UAB „Balstas“ direktorius.

Buvo Lietuvos žurnalistų sąjungos kontrolės komiteto pirmininko pavaduotojas. Nepriklausomos periodinės spaudos rėmimo „Žurnalistikos“ fondo valdybos pirmininkas. Keletą kartų – „Komjaunimo tiesos“ ir šešis kartus žurnalo „Švyturio“ publicistinių rašinių konkursų prizininkas ir laureatas.
