Pranas Griušys

Pranas Griušys (g. 1955 m. gegužės 23 d. Medsėdžiuose, Klaipėdos raj.) – Lietuvos dailininkas.

Biografija

1982 m. baigė Lietuvos dailės institutą. Nuo 1983 m. Vilniaus dailės akademijos Kauno dailės instituto dėstytojas, 1989–1993 m. Pramoninės dailės fakulteto dekanas. Nuo 2004 m. profesorius.

Kūryba

Tapyboje plėtoja fotorealizmo principą, kartais tapo pagal senas nuotraukas, taiko iliuzionistinio paveikslo trompe l'œil, magiškojo realizmo stilistiką. Būdingos senųjų tapybos meistrų (Džordžonės, Engro ir kt.) kūrinių parafrazės, aliuzijos į modernistinės tapybos kryptis (pvz., neoimpresionizmą). Svarbesni paveikslai: „Autoportretas istoriniame muziejuje“, 1985 m., „Napoleono armijos persikėlimas per Nemuną 1812 metų birželio 12 d.“, 1986 m., „Laimingoji – tai aš, arba Sugedęs šaldytuvas“, 1995 m., „Veneros sapnas“, 1998 m., „Miegantis sargas“, 1999 m., triptikas „Gaisrininkų kova su vaivorykšte“, „Banalus siužetas“, abu 2000 m., „Pamiškė“, 2003 m. Nuo 1982 m. dalyvauja parodose Lietuvoje ir užsienyje (Italijoje, Latvijoje).[1]
