Marija Žmuidzinavičienė (dail. Antanas Žmuidzinavičius, "Žmonos portretas", 1910 m.)

Marija Žmuidzinavičienė-Putvinskaitė (1876 m. rugsėjo 9 d. Šilo Pavėžupyje – 1959 m. gegužės 12 d. Kaune) – gydytoja stomatologė, visuomenės ir Lietuvos šaulių sąjungos veikėja.

1863 m. sukilėlių Rapolo Putvinskio ir grafaitės Idalijos Broel-Platerytės duktė, Vlado Putvinskio sesuo.

Biografija

Mokėsi Mintaujos mergaičių gimnazijoje ir Vilniuje. Varšuvoje ir Paryžiaus Aukštojoje stomatologijos mokykloje studijavo odontologiją[1]. Nuo 1907 m. pradžios turėjo stomatologijos kabinetą Vilniuje, o po Pirmojo pasaulinio karo iki mirties – Kaune. Įsteigus Lietuvos universitetą, kurį laiką dirbo Medicinos fakultete, odontologijos klinikoje. 1909 m. spalio 10 d. ištekėjo už dailininko Antano Žmuidzinavičiaus. Jiems gimė duktė, vėliau tapusi vertėja Giedrė Žmuidzinavičiūtė-Gučienė.

Besimokydama Vilniuje, gynė lietuviškas organizacijas nuo lenkų puolimų, talkininkavo broliui Vladui platinant slaptąją spaudą. 1905–1906 m. Paryžiuje išrinkta lietuvių draugijos „Lithuania“ pirmininke. Nuo 1906 m. vasaros kartu su taip pat stomatologe Sofija Gimbutaite Vilniuje kėlė į viešumą lietuvių meno problemas. Nuo 1907 m. sausio 9 d. įvykusios Pirmosios lietuvių dailės parodos Vilniuje aktyviai dalyvavo rengiant visas parodas, globodavo į Vilnių atvykstančius dailininkus.

1907 m. dalyvavo Steigiamajame Lietuvių dailės draugijos susirinkime Vilniuje, buvo daugelio draugijos valdybų narė. Priklausė „Motinos ir vaiko“ draugijai. Nuo 1930 m. dirbo Šaulių moterų centro organizacinėje komisijoje, buvo tarybos narė. Nuo 1933 m. Šaulių moterų centro pirmininkė, 1935–1936 m. Šaulių moterų vadė.
