Kanonas (Biblija)

Biblijos kanonas – sąrašas tekstų, kuriuos tam tikra religinė bendrija laiko autoritetingais, jos šventų knygų rinkinys. Judaizme – Tanachas (Senasis Testamentas), krikščionybėje – Biblija. Pats žodis kanonas reiškia visuotinai priimtą taisyklę, normą.

Senojo Testamento kanonas

Seniausia Biblijos dalis yra Tora. Istorinių knygų parašymo laikas maždaug atitinka jų išdėstymo Biblijoje tvarką.

Judėjai tiki, kad Senojo Testamento knygas surinko ir sutvarkė Rašto žinovas Ezdras. Kiek tai turi realaus pagrindo, nežinoma. Tarp Palestinos žydų ir Aleksandrijos žydų buvo susidarę nedideli kanono skirtumai. Palestinos kanoną sudarė 39 knygos, o į Aleksandrijos dar buvo įtraukiamos papildomos knygos. Kai kurios jų parašytos graikiškai. Tų papildomų knygų dabartinėje hebrajiškoje Biblijoje nėra.

Naujojo Testamento kanonas

Naujasis Testamentas buvo parašytas pirmajame mūsų eros amžiuje. Visgi kai kurios knygos (pvz., Antrasis Petro laiškas, anot dalies tyrinėtojų, parašytas 100–150 m. e. m.[1]) datuojamos ir antruoju mūsų eros amžiumi. Dauguma jo knygų pripažintos iš karto, o kelios smulkesnės (laiškas Filemonui, 2 ir 3 Jono laiškai, Judo laiškas) galutinai pripažintos kiek vėliau.

Antrasis Kanonas

Katalikai, ortodoksai prie Senojo Testamento papildomai priskiria 7 deuterokanonines (Antrojo Kanono) knygas[2]:

  • Tobijo knyga
  • Juditos knyga
  • 1 Makabiejų knyga
  • 2 Makabiejų knyga
  • Išminties knyga
  • Siracido knyga
  • Barucho knyga

Taip pat papildomai pridedami graikiški Esteros ir Danieliaus knygų priedai. Šias knygas į lotyniškąjį Biblijos vertimą, Vulgatą, įtraukė šv. Jeronimas.

Protestantai 7 papildomas knygas laiko apokrifinėmis ir nededa į savo Biblijos leidimus. Motyvuojama tuo, kad šių knygų nėra hebrajiškoje Biblijoje, jos necituojamos Naujajame Testamente.

M. Liuteris neįtraukė šių knygų į Senajį Testamentą, pavadindamas jas apokrifinėmis ir nelygiavertėmis kitoms knygoms, tačiau naudingomis skaityti.[3] Šiai kategorijai jis siūlė priskirti ir Esteros knygą, nes atmetus deuterokanoninius priedus, šioje knygoje nė karto neminimas Dievas.
