Italijos rasiniai įstatymai

Italijos rasiniai įstatymai (it. Leggi razziali) – įstatymų rinkinys, 1938-1943 m. galiojęs Italijos karalystėje, skatinęs rasinę diskriminaciją Italijoje. Šie įstatymai buvo nukreipti daugiausia prieš Italijos žydus bei Italijos kolonijų vietinius gyventojus.

Pirmasis ir svarbiausias iš šių įstatymų buvo Regio Decreto 17 Novembre 1938 Nr. 1728. Jis ribojo pilietines žydų teises, draudė jų knygas, pašalino žydus iš viešųjų įstaigų ir aukštojo švietimo sistemos. Papildomi įstatymai atėmė žydų turtą, ribojo jų keliones ir, galų gale, nustatė jų vidinę tremtį (tas pats buvo numatyta politiniams kaliniams).

Prieš rasinių įstatymų paskelbimą sekė ilga kampanija spaudoje. 1938 m. liepos 14 d. buvo publikuotas „Rasės manifestas“, pseudomokslinis veikalas, kurio autoriai buvo fašistų mokslininkai ir jų šalininkai, palaikę tokias idėjas, kaip europiečių pranašumas, lyginant su kitomis rasėmis. Galutinis sprendimas dėl šių įstatymų buvo priimtas Didžiosios fašizmo tarybos naktį iš 1938 m. spalio 6 į spalio 7 d. Romoje, Palazzo Venezia rūmuose. Ne visi fašistai palaikė diskriminaciją. Pvz., provokiški ir antižydiški Roberto Farinacci ir Giovanni Preziosi energingai palaikė šiuos įstatymus, o, pvz., Italo Balbo griežtai bandė juos sustabdyti.

1943 m. liepos 25 d. kritus Musolinio valdžiai Badoljo vyriausybė sustabdė šių įstatymų veikimą. Bet jie toliau veikė teritorijose, pavaldžiose Italijos socialinei respublikai, ir net buvo dar griežtesni.

Dauguma paprastų italų nemėgo Italijos rasinių įstatymų. Šalyje žydai sudarė mažą mažumą, į šalį jie daugiausia pateko iš Iberijos šalių, iš kur buvo išvaryti XV a. pabaigoje. Per tą laiką jie giliai integravosi Italijos visuomenėje. Daugelis italų nebuvo susidūrę su žydais, Italijos visuomenė nebuvo susidūrusi su tokiu antisemitizmu, kuris buvo gana būdingas vokiečiakalbėms šalims, šiaurės ir rytų Europos šalims, kur jau senai gyveno daug žydų.

Iki 1938 m. jokių rasinių įstatymų nebuvo. Viljamas Šireris savo knygoje „The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich“ („Trečiojo Reicho pakilimas ir žlugimas“) teigė, kad Musolinis rasinius įstatymus įvedė tik tam, kad įsiteiktų galingiems savo sąjungininkams vokiečiams, o ne todėl, kad patenkintų kokius nors antisemitinius italų jausmus.
