Arvydas Juozapas Janavičius (1939 m. balandžio 27 d. Ukmergėje – 2022 m. lapkričio 24 d. Šiauliuose) – fizikas atomininkas, Šiaulių miesto politinis ir visuomenės veikėjas.[1]

Biografija

1962 m. baigė Vilniaus universitetą. 1971 m. apgynė daktaro disertaciją, 1974 m. gavo docento vardą. 1999 m. apsigynė habilituoto daktaro disertaciją „Kai kurie metodai ir modeliai kvantinėje mechanikoje ir netiesinėje difuzijoje“. Tais pačiais metais išrinktas ir Šiaulių universiteto Fizikos katedros profesoriumi.[2]

2002 m. Lietuvos Nacionaldemokratų partijos narys, 2004 m. rinkimuose atstovavo Respublikonų partiją, 2007 m. Tautinę partiją Lietuvos kelias. 2003–2007 m. Šiaulių miesto savivaldybės tarybos narys.[1]
