Riga (Lets: Rīga) is de houfsjtad van Letlandj en mit zoget 700.000 inweuners de grótste sjtad van de Baltische lenjer. De sjtad ligk aan beidskantje van de Wèstelike Dvina (Lets: Daugava), kórtbie de munjing in de Golf van Riga (Ooszee). 't Is 't politisch, ikkenomisch en cultureel centrum van Letlandj.
