Papyrus Antinoopolis 1, iuxta urbem Antinoopolim Aegypti repertus, seriem offert fragmentorum e libro manuali saeculi 4 vel 5 p.C.n. qui de stenographia in lingua Graeca disserit. Primum autem fragmentum rescribit abecedarium Latinum nominaque litterarum singularum in scripturam Graecam translitterata, inter quae: α βη κη δη ε ιφφε γη δασιά ι κα ιλλε ιμμε ιννε ο πη κου ιρρε ισσε τη ου. Haec nomina ab eis quae Varro recitat differunt; praefigurant autem ea quae in linguis Romanicis reperimus (e.g. Italiane effe elle emme enne erre esse).
