제2성전 유대교(Second Temple Judaism)는 제2성전 시대의 유대교로, 제2성전 건설을 시작으로 서기 70년에 예루살렘 공방전으로 예루살렘 성전이 파괴되며 끝난다.

제2성전 시대에는 다양한 종교적 흐름이 나타났고 광범위한 문화적, 종교적, 정치적 발전이 일어났다. 히브리어 성경 정경, 시나고그, 유대교 종말론의 발전과 기독교의 발흥은 제2성전 시대로 거슬러 올라갈 수 있다.[1][2]

유대 전통에 따르면 예언은 제2성전 초기에 중단되었다. 이로 인해 유대인들은 지원과 지시가 가장 필요하다고 느꼈을 때 야훼의 인도를 받지 못했다.[3] 헬레니즘 통치하에서 유대교에 대한 헬레니즘의 영향력이 커지면서 일신교 신앙을 고수하는 유대인들에게 반대의 원인이 되었다. 이것은 마카베오 반란의 주요 촉매제였다. 후기 제2성전 시대에 많은 메시아 사상이 발전했다. 기원전 170년에서 기원후 30년까지 다섯 세대에 걸친 주곳("쌍") 지도자가 유대인의 영적 문제를 주도했다. 이 기간 동안 바리새파, 사두개파, 에세네파, 열심당파, 초기 기독교 등의 종파가 형성되었다.
