요한 테첼(Johann Tetzel, 1465년 - 1519년 8월 11일)은 독일의 로마 카톨릭 도미니코회 수사이자 설교가였다. 또한, 그는 폴란드에 이단심문소장이며 후에 독일에서 면죄부 판매 위원장이 되었다. 그는 죄에 대한 일시적 처벌을 제거하는 것과 죄를 용서해 주는 것을 허락 받은 대가인 면죄부를 돈으로 교환할 수 있는 권한을 받았던 것으로 알려져 있다. 이런 지위는 마르틴 루터에 의해 크게 도전을 받았다. 이것이 종교개혁으로 가는데 부분적으로 기여를 하게 되었다. 연옥교리와 면죄부가 관련된 라이프치히 논쟁의 시작이 되게 했다.
