세계 주요 뉴스와 온 오프라인을 망라한 국제 정보를 새로운 방식으로 신속하게 전달했던 한국방송공사의 저녁 국제 심층 뉴스쇼 프로그램이었다.

  • 당시 메인 앵커는 2020년 1월 13일부터 2020년 6월 5일까지를 기준으로 했으며, 서브 앵커는 2017년 11월 20일부터 2020년 6월 28일까지 기준으로 했다.
  • 첫 진행시 "전세계 24개국을 전하는 글로벌 24 입니다."로 진행자(이각경 아나운서)의 이름을 부르지 않고 진행하는 것이 아니라 진행자의 이름을 부르며 진행하는 것이 좋았다.
  • 메인 앵커의 경우 2013년 4월 8일부터 2015년 9월 17일까지 보도국 기자가 진행하였으나, 2015년 9월 21일부터 2020년 6월 28일까지 아나운서가 진행하는 방식으로 변경되었다.
