ალბერტ ერენშტაინი (გერმ. Albert Ehrenstein;; დ. 23 დეკემბერი 1886, ვენა — გ. 8 აპრილი 1950, ნიუ-იორკი) — ავსტრიელი მწერალი და პოეტი, ლიტერატურული ექსპრესიონიზმის წარმომადგენელი.

ბიოგრაფია

ალბერტ ერენშტაინი დაიბადა ავსტრია-უნგრეთში, ებრაელი მოლარის ოჯახში. სწავლობდა ფილოსოფიას და ისტორიას. მიიპყრო კ. კრაუსის ყურადღება, რომელმაც ერენშტაინის ლექსი თავის ჟურნალში გამოაქვეყნა. დაუმეგობრდა ოსკარ კოკოშკას და სხვა ექსპრესიონისტებს. სახელი მას მოთხრობა „თუბუჩმა“ მოუტანა, რომელიც ექსპრესიონისტული პროზის ერთ-ერთი პირველი ნიმუშია. კარლ კრაუსი თავის რეცენზიაში ამ წიგნზე წერდა:

„...გამოჩნდა ახალი პოეტური ტალანტი, რომელიც თავისი პირველივე სიტყვით წყვეტს კავშირს იმ სფეროსთან, სადაც ხელოვნება კმაყოფილდება იმით, რომ ფაკულტატური დამატებაა რაღაცისათვის, რაც - თუმც კი თავისთავად არავითარი ღირებულება არა აქვს, - უმთავრესად ითვლება და სიცოცხლედ იწოდება. აქ კი ჩვენ რაღაც განუყოფელი გვაქვს: ადამიანი თვითონ ქმნის სიცოცხლეს, რომელსაც უარყოფს, მაგრამ რომლის მიმართაც იგი იმდენად კეთილგანწყობილია, რომ მას „დენშჩიკის“ ხმით ელაპარაკოს, და როგორ იფერადებს ეს ადამიანი თავის ხილვებს უუბრალოესი წვრილმანებით, თითქოსდა მის წინაშე წვრილმანები კი არა, სამოთხის სიცოცხლის ოქროს ხე იყოს; ასეთი მიდგომა - ყოველი შემთხვევისათვის იმ სფეროში, სადაც მოლაყბეები და ფსიქოლოგები მიჩვეულნი არიან უკვე გამზადებული მასალის დამუშავებას, - რაღაც ახალი და ამაღელვებელია. ამ კარლ თუბუჩისათვის რეალური ლინცერშტრასე მეტ ცასა და მიწას იტევს, ვიდრე რომელიც გნებავთ უკიდეგანო ქვეყანა, რომელიც კი მეოცნებე სულებს შეიძლება მოელანდოთ“. - კარლ კრაუსი. „ჩირაღდანი“, 1912, № 343.

ერენშტაინი გამოდიოდა იმპერიალისტური ომის წინააღმდეგ და მხარს უჭერდა რევოლუციას. 1920-იან წლებში ბევრს მოგზაურობდა, გატაცებული იყო ჩინური კულტურით. 1934 წელს ეწვია სსრკ-ს. ნაცისტების დროს ერენშტაინის შემოქმედება აკრძალული იყო, ევროპის ქვეყნებში ფეხის მოკიდების უნაყოფო ცდების შემდეგ აშშ-ში გაემგზავრა. ომის შემდეგ ერენშტაინი ცდილობდა სახლში დაბრუნებას, მაგრამ ვერ იპოვა გამომცემელი და ნიუ-იორკში სიღარიბეში გარდაიცვალა.
