აკარის მუჰაფაზა (არაბ. محافظة عكار) — ლიბანის უკიდურეს ჩრდილოეთში მდებარე მუჰაფაზა. იგი მოიცავს მხოლოდ ერთ — აკარის რაიონს,[1] რომელიც თავის მხრივ იყოფა 121 მუნიციპალიტეტად.[2] დედაქალაქი ჰალბა.[1]. მუჰაფაზა ლიბანის სიდიდით მეორე სასოფლო-სამეურნეო ცენტრია. მისი აღმოსავლეთ ნაწილი ტყიანი მთებითაა აღსანიშნავი, რომელიც ეროვნულ პარკში შედის.[3]

2015 წლის გაეროს ლტოლვილთა უმაღლესი კომისარიატის მონაცემებით მუჰაფაზის მოსახლეობა 389 899 კაცს შეადგენს, რომელთაგან 106 935 სირიელი ლტოლვილია, ხოლო 19 404 პალესტინელი.[2] მოსახლეობის უმრავლესობა სუნიტია. უმცირესობას შეადგენენ ქრისტიანები და ალავიტები. ძალიან ცოტა არიან შიიტები.[2] აკარი ლიბანის ყველაზე დაბალურბანიზებული მუჰაფაზაა. მოსახლეობის 80% სოფლად ცხოვრობს.[4]

აკარის მუჰაფაზა შეიქმნა 2003 წლის 16 ივლისს, როდესაც აკარის ოლქი გამოეყო ჩრდილოეთის მუჰაფაზას,[5] მაგრამ მხოლოდ 2014 წელს ამოქმედდა იმპლემენტაცია.[6] და კვლავ შეუსრულებელი რჩება.[7] აკარის მუჰაფაზა ლიბანის უღარიბესი და განათლების დონით ყველაზე დაბალ ადგილზე მყოფი მუჰაფაზაა. იგი განიცდის ინფრასტრუქტურის და მომსახურების სფეროს დარგების ნაკლებობას.[4] ბოლო დროს სირიელი ლტოლვილების შედინებამ გაამძაფრა ეს პრობლემა და 2015 წლის მონაცემებით მუჰაფაზის უმუშევრობის დონე 60%-ია. [8]
