周忠

周 忠（しゅう ちゅう、生没年不詳）は、中国後漢末の武将。字は嘉謀[1]。揚州廬江郡舒県（現在の安徽省六安市舒城県）の人。高祖父は周栄。祖父は周興。父は周景。兄は周崇。子は周暉。従兄弟は周異・周尚。従甥は周瑜。

周瑜の従父とも、又従兄弟とも言われる。

生涯

若くして列位に歴し、累遷して大司農となった。

192年12月、光禄大夫にうつっていた周忠は、皇甫嵩に代わって、太尉・録尚書事となった。

太尉のおり、尚書賈詡と共謀し朱儁を中央に招聘した。大司農の士孫瑞を尊敬しており、自分が三公に推挙された際には士孫瑞を代わりに推挙したという。

193年6月、太尉の周忠は免職になった。その後衛尉となった。

献帝の東帰にて、李傕と董承・楊奉との戦いの中で、李傕らは宮女たちを殺したり誘拐したりして、少府の田芬、大司農の張義、尚書令の士孫瑞が殺された。周忠は司徒の趙温、太常の王偉、司隷校尉の栄邵らとともに捕虜になった。李傕は周忠等を処刑しようとしたが、賈詡が諫めたため、中止した。

それ以降の記述はない。

周忠の子の周暉は、洛陽令であったが董卓が専横をはじめると官を去って帰った。周暉と弟は賓客を好み、江淮間（江水と淮水の間）で盛んになり、馬車は常に百余りが従って出入りした。皇帝が崩御するに及び、周暉は都の情勢不安なことを聞き、周忠に会いに行ったところ、董卓は兵に命じ周暉と弟を殺した。
