今井今助

今井今助

今井 今助（いまい いますけ、1866年10月23日（慶応2年9月15日[1]） - 1948年（昭和23年）2月18日[2]）は、日本の政治家。群馬県出身。

川場村の湯原で代々名主をしていた今井家に生まれた今井今助は、川場村長、利根郡議会議員、群馬県議会議員などを経て、1917年に衆議院議員に当選。以後、通算で当選2回を数え、政友本党のホープとして活躍。群馬県農会副会長、利根教育会長、利根貯蓄銀行取締役、群馬県農工銀行取締役などを務めた。勲七等を授けられ、後に勲四等を授けられた。今井今助の息子である今井孝次は川場村村長や大政翼賛会県支部協力会議員などを務め、今井孝次の弟の今井頼次郎は朝鮮総督府逓信局電気課長などを務め、従五位勲六等瑞宝章を授けられ、後に勅任官となり、勲四等を授けられた。今井今助の一族は川場村に貢献した者が多く、昭和三十年代の村の名士録には、彼の一族の名前が複数ある。
