ラーヘル・ファルンハーゲン・フォン・エンゼ

ラーヘル・ファルンハーゲン・フォン・エンゼ（Rahel Varnhagen von Ense, 1771年5月26日 - 1833年3月7日）は、ドイツのユダヤ教徒の女性で、サロン主催者。夫カール・アウグスト・ファルンハーゲン・フォン・エンゼは、文芸批評家。元の姓はレーヴィン（Levin）。

生涯・概要

商人のマルクス・レーヴィン Markus Levin とハイエ（ハイヤー Chayyah） Chaie Levin の娘としてベルリンで生まれる。

1820年代にサロンを開くが、ベルリン・ロマン派の中心地となり、哲学・文学・芸術の各界の論客が訪れ、賑わった。

「類稀な知性」と豊富な話題が周囲に人気と反響をもたらしたといわれる。また、ユダヤ教徒解放・女性解放について積極的に発言した。

死後、2冊の書簡集が出版された。
