Laur（ラウル、1997年3月24日[1][2] - ）は、日本の作曲家、編曲家、DJである。

来歴

2歳の頃にピアノを始める。小学4年生で一旦離れるものの、中学2年生から独学でピアノを再開し、高校1年生まではピアノ及びキーボードプレイヤーとして活動する[3]。

鍵盤に飽きが生じ、何か他のことをしようと考えていた頃にKONAMI社の音楽ゲーム「SOUND VOLTEX」に出会い、同ゲームの楽曲公募であるFLOOR公募を通してDTMと言う概念自体を初めて認知し、没頭し始めた頃に「自分の楽曲をこのゲームでプレイしたい！」と言う意思が強く芽生え、作曲を本格的に始める。高校2年生の時に父からMacを貰ったことをきっかけに作曲ソフトのLogic Pro Xを購入、より作曲に対し活発的になる[3]。

曲を作り始めた当初は音楽ゲームに楽曲を提供したいと言う目的のみで作曲をしていたが、徐々にそれ以外のクラブミュージック全般にも興味を持ち始め、音楽ゲームとは関係の無いジャンルの創作も始める[3]。

2015年に洗足学園音楽大学 音楽・音響デザインコース作編曲専攻に入学。入学後はクラブミュージックの他にもメタル、オーケストラ曲、映画音楽、ゲームミュージック、民族音楽等さまざまな音楽ジャンルに興味を持つようになり、積極的にそれらの創作を試みるようになる[3]。

2017年よりDJ活動を開始[3]。また2018年からハードコアテクノレーベル「HARDCORE TANO*C」に加入。同年、自身の1stソロ・アルバムである『The Angel's Message』をリリースした[4]。

2020年8月26日、自身のTwitterでイラストレーターのみしゃもとの結婚を発表した[5][6]。

人物

「らうるちゃん」という、本人をモチーフにしたキャラクターが存在し、本人のSNSのアイコンになっていたり、公式グッズも発売されている[7]。

2021年のエイプリルフールにVTuberとしてデビュー[8]。彼女をモチーフにした楽曲として「Alteregoism」がある[9]。
