Candy Shop（キャンディーショップ、朝: 캔디샵）は、韓国の5人組ガールズグループ。Braveエンターテインメント所属。

概要

Braveエンターテインメントより2011年にデビューしたBrave Girls以来、約13年ぶりのガールズグループ。これまでBrown Eyed Girls、AFTERSCHOOL、SISTAR、AOAなど、多くのガールズグループのアルバムをプロデュースし、ヒットに導いたBrave Brothersをはじめ、Braveエンターテインメント所属のプロデューサーが参加[1][2]。

グループ名「Candy Shop」は、「青春を掴んで描こう」という意味の「CAtch N Draw Youth」と、メンバーとリスナーをつなぐ空間を象徴する「Shop」の合成語である。数万種類のキャンディーのように、多彩な魅力を持つメンバーたちが同世代を代表する音楽を披露し、“MZ世代のアイコン”として生まれ変わるという抱負が込められている[3][4]。

来歴

2024年

  • 1月2日、2024年上半期のデビューを目標に、4人組の新人ガールズグループのローンチを準備していると発表した[5]。
  • 1月12日、グループ名「Candy Shop」、及び公式ロゴを公開した[6]。
  • 2月12日、公式SNSを開設し、グループのロゴモーションを公開した。さらにダンスプラクティス動画がサプライズ公開[4]。
  • 2月13日、全員のビジュアル写真とダンスパフォーマンス映像を公開した[7]。
  • 2月14日から17日にかけて、スイ[8]、サラン[9]、ソラム[10]、ユイナの順でメンバーが公開された。
  • 3月1日、デビュー日を発表した[11]。
  • 3月27日、1stミニアルバム『Hashtag#』から タイトル曲「Good Girl」でデビュー[12][13][14][15]。同日デビューショーケースを開催した[16][17]。
  • 4月1日、チキン専用フランチャイズであるチキンマルの新メニュー広報に就任した[18]。
  • 5月9日、ユイナが健康上の理由により活動を暫定的に中止[19]。
  • 5月14日、新メンバージュリアが加入し、休止中のユイナを抜く4人で活動を再開[20]。
  • 6月12日、2ndミニアルバム『Girls Don’t Cry』を発売[21]。
