AFC U17アジアカップ2023（英: AFC U-17 Asian Cup 2023）は、2023年6月15日から7月2日にかけてタイで開催された第19回目のAFC U17アジアカップである。

当初は2020年11月にバーレーンで開催予定だったが[1][2]、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大の影響により2021年初旬に開催延期となった[3]。しかし、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大が続いていることにより、2021年1月25日にアジアサッカー連盟は開催中止を発表した[4]。そのため2023年に改めてバーレーンで開催される予定であったが、2022年6月16日にバーレーンは大会の開催権を返上した[5]。その後2022年12月23日にタイで開催されることが決定した[6]。この大会からはFIFA U-17ワールドカップと同年開催とし、出場年齢を16歳以下から17歳以下に切り替えて大会名がAFC U17アジアカップ（英: AFC U-17 Asian Cup）となる初の大会となった[7]。日本が2大会連続4回目の優勝を果たした。

本大会の上位4チームには2023 FIFA U-17ワールドカップの出場権が与えられた。

予選

予選は、2022年10月1日から10月9日にかけて行われた。参加した44チーム（組み合わせ抽選後東ティモールとスリランカは出場辞退）が4または5チームずつ10グループに分かれ総当たり戦を行い、各グループ1位の10チームと2位の内上位6チームが本大会の出場権を得た。

組み合わせ抽選会 

組み合わせ抽選は、2023年3月30日にバンコクで行われた。ポット分けに関してはAFC U-16選手権2018の成績をもとに決められ以下の通りとなった[8]。

順位決定方法 

順位は勝ち点の合計により決定する。勝ち点が同じ場合は以下の順で基準を適用し決定する[9]。

  1. 当該チーム間の対戦における勝ち点
  2. 当該チーム間の対戦における得失点差
  3. 当該チーム間の対戦における得点
  4. 1.～3.を適用後も2チーム以上が同順位となる場合そのチーム同士で再度1.～3.を適用して順位を決定する。それでも決まらない場合5.以降を適用する。
  5. グループ全試合での得失点差
  6. グループ全試合での得点
  7. 2チームのみが同順位で当該チームがグループ最終戦で対戦していた場合PK戦
  8. 試合で受けたカードの枚数をポイント化し（イエローカード=1、イエローカード2枚によるレッドカード=3、一発レッドカード=3、イエローカードの後一発レッドカード=4）その少ない順
