忽那 健太（くつな けんた、1994年9月13日 - ）は、ヘリオッツRFC（英語版）に所属するラグビー選手。

プロフィール

略歴

幼少期からラグビーを始める。松山ラグビースクール出身。 愛媛のラグビー界では有名な「忽那三兄弟」の次男 松山市立城西中学校[2]、石見知翠館高校[2]、筑波大学卒業。

中学時代、愛媛県選抜チームに選出され主将として全国ジュニアラグビーフットボール大会に出場した経験がある。

2010年、島根県石見智翠館高等学校に入学。1年時から3年連続花園に出場。高校3年時には主将として第13回全国選抜大会に出場し準優勝を収める。同年、岐阜開催の国民体育大会は島根県代表として出場し3位。冬の全国大会ではチームを創部初のベスト8へ導く。なお、西日本高校選抜、高校日本代表候補に選ばれたことがある[3]。

2013年、筑波大学に入学する。

2016年、筑波大学ラグビー部の主将に就任した[4]。なお大学在学時には、日本選手権に出場した経験がある。

2017年、筑波大学卒業後、Honda Heat(現三重ホンダヒート)に加入[5]。

2018年10月13日に行われたジャパンラグビートップリーグ第6節のコカ・コーラレッドスパークス戦にて先発出場で公式戦初出場を果たす[6]。

2019年に行われた第74回国民体育大会ラグビーフットボール競技、成年男子（7人制）の部に三重県代表として出場し優勝した経験がある。

2021年、シーズン終了後Honda Heatを退団。同年、膀胱癌と診断されるも治療を経て、社会復帰[7]。

2021年、愛知県瀬戸市にある名古屋学院大学ラグビー部のコーチに就任。2023年まで2年間、指導に携わる。（同年3月末をもって退任）

2023年4月、選手として現役復帰。イギリス スコットランドへの挑戦を表明し、現地リーグで日本人初の契約選手を目指して活動を始める。

家族

弟はラグビー選手の忽那鐘太で、3兄弟ともラグビー経験者[8]。
