平重道

平 重道（たいら しげみち、1911年10月18日 - 1993年7月2日[1]）は、日本の歴史学者、東北大学名誉教授。

略歴

仙台市生まれ。1934年に東北帝国大学法文学部国史学科に入学し、村岡典嗣の指導[2]を得て、1937年卒業[3]。卒業論文は「承久の乱の史論と解釈」[4]。1968年「吉川神道の基礎的研究」で東北大学より文学博士の学位を取得[5]。東北大学教養部助教授、教授、宮城教育大学教授。仙台の歴史などを研究した。1986年11月、勲三等旭日中綬章受章[6]。
