 1956  4  10 第三校舎竣工。体育館竣工。
 1958  10  15 町制施行により碧海郡六ツ美町立六ツ美中学校と改称。
 1959  12  31 体育館廊下竣工。
 1962  10  15  岡崎市に合併し、岡崎市立六ツ美中学校と改称。
 1965  7  12  プール竣工。
   11  9  市指定「理科備品の活用」で研究発表。

年間行事

7月に水泳大会が、9月に体育大会が開かれる。11月には、文化祭が前日祭、当日祭と2日間にわたって行われる。

このほか各学年の行事として、1年次の4月に新歓合宿の「山の学習」が岡崎市内の岡崎市少年自然の家で、2泊3日の日程で行われていたが、2014年を最後に行われなくなった。2年次の2月には「スキー合宿」が、車山に2泊3日の日程で行われる。修学旅行は3年次に2泊3日で東京・横浜方面へ行く。なお2020年度および2021年度は新型コロナウイルス感染症 (2019年)の影響を受けて行き先が和歌山・三重方面に変更された。
