大橋 博（おおはし ひろし、1944年 - ） 日本の教育者。国内外で保育園といった幼児教育機関から大学・大学院までを展開する総合教育グループ・学校法人創志学園の創立者であり、総長[1]。兵庫教育大学大学院修士課程修了、また、内閣府認可の公益財団法人 こども教育支援財団の理事長も務める。

略歴

  • 1965年：大学4年生になる春休み、地元の中学生4人の求めにより、教育活動を始める。教育の素晴らしさに触れ、翌1966年大学卒業と同時に学習塾を創設。
  • 1990年：ニュージーランド（NZ）初の私立大学となるInternational Pacific 大学を開学。当大学は、1987年の「21世紀型大学検討委員会」が提唱した環太平洋大学構想に基づいたもので、NZ建国150年の年に認可を得、当時のNZ総督のポール・リーブス卿により開学宣言が行われた。以後30年間、今では26ヶ国からの学生が集まり、真の国際理解を探求する教育が行われるようになった。
  • 1992年：クラーク記念国際高等学校を開校。当校は24年ぶり日本で6番目となる、広域通信制高校である。通信制ではあるが、全生徒の70%が通学する「全日制型」を開発、通信制の緩やかな教育課程を生かしたコース制の採用により、1万人を超える生徒が在籍。
  • 2001年：文部科学省認可の財団法人こども教育支援財団を創立し理事長に就任。平成25年4月に内閣府認定の公益財団法人となっている。当財団は未来社会を担うかけがえのないこども達の教育の現状や今後のあるべき姿を様々な角度から調査・研究し、こどもたちの健全な育成、生きる力を育む。
  • 2007年：環太平洋大学を開学。環太平洋大学構想の第2ステージが開幕。「教育と体育の融合」の経営理念のもと、体育会は18種目が活動しており、世界大会・オリンピックにも選手を輩出。
  • 2009年：国立兵庫教育大学第５代同窓会長に就任。その後2011年2013年と再任され、3期の任期満了で退任。また、2014年には大学院外部評価委員に選任され、2015年からは大学経営協議会委員及び学長選考委員に就任。
  • 2010年：創志学園高等学校を開校。文武両道を実践する高校を目指す。2011年、硬式野球部は創部1年目にして第83回選抜高等学校野球大会に出場。その後、春夏通算6回の甲子園出場を果たしている。
  • 2012年：学校法人順心広尾学園の理事長に就任。就任と同時に学校改革に着手し、本科・医進サイエンス・インターナショナルの3コースにコース別独立運営体制を導入。「3つの頂を持つ広尾学園」として飛躍的に成長している。2017年3月任期満了で退任。
