歴史

  • 1901年（明治34年）11月3日 - 仲多度郡善通寺村、吉田村、麻野村が合併。町制施行し、善通寺町となる。
  • 1954年（昭和29年）3月31日 - 仲多度郡吉原村、与北村、筆岡村、竜川村と合併し市制施行して善通寺市となり消滅。
