ニコバル諸語
ニコバル諸語(Nicobarase languages)はオーストロアジア語族に属す言語である。インドのニコバル諸島でニコバル人に話される。全体で30,000人の話者がいる。(母語話者は22,100 人)。ニコバル諸語の話者はの多くはカー語を用いる。
ニコバル諸語は大ニコバル島のションペン語に遠縁であるとされる
[2]が、一方でen:Paul Sidwell (2017)[3]はションペン語をオーストロアジア語族内の別の系統に属さしている。
ニコバル諸語とオーストロネシア語族の形態的類似はオーストリック大語族仮説を支持する助けとなる。
