ウェルシュ・プレミアリーグ 2015-2016は、1992-1993シーズンに創設されてから24シーズン目のウェルシュ・プレミアリーグ（ウェールズサッカー1部リーグ）である。2015年8月21日から2016年4月23日までレギュラーシーズン、5月7日から5月14日までプレーオフが実施された[2]。

概要

2014-2015シーズンのウェルシュ・プレミアリーグからCefn Druids AFCとPrestatyn Town FCがカムリ・アライアンスに降格し、代わりにカムリ・アライアンスからMBiランディドノーFC、ウェルシュ・フットボールリーグ・ディビジョン1からハーバーフォードウェスト・カウンティが昇格した。

最初に12チームがホーム・アンド・アウェー方式の2回戦総当たり戦（各チーム22試合）を実施し、次に上位6チームと下位6チームに分かれてホーム・アンド・アウェー方式の2回戦総当たり戦（各チーム10試合）を実施して合計成績で順位を決定する。上位グループの最下位は6位、下位グループの最上位は7位となる。優勝チームはUEFAチャンピオンズリーグ 2016-17予選1回戦、2位チームはUEFAヨーロッパリーグ 2016-17予選1回戦出場権を獲得する。3位から7位の5チームはヨーロッパリーグ・プレーオフに出場する。5チームの中にウェルシュカップ優勝チームが含まれる場合は代わりに8位チームが出場する。プレーオフ勝者チームとウェルシュカップ優勝チームもヨーロッパリーグ予選1回戦出場権を獲得する。下位2チームはカムリ・アライアンスまたはウェルシュ・フットボールリーグ・ディビジョン1に自動降格する。[3]
