Il Sam Wo (三和粥粉麵S) è stato uno storico ristorante cinese di San Francisco, negli Stati Uniti d'America.
Storia
Il ristorante venne aperto intorno al 1912[1] ed era considerato il più vecchio del suo genere nella Chinatown di San Francisco.[2] Negli anni 1960 divenne celebre per il suo cameriere Edsel Ford Fong, giudicato da più parti il "cameriere più maleducato del mondo".[3][4] Il Sam Wo viene citato da Woody Allen nella pellicola da lui diretta Manhattan (1979). Il Sam Wo venne chiuso nel 2012 per motivi di sicurezza; riaprì tre anni più tardi. L'esercizio chiuse nuovamente i battenti nel 2025.[1]
