Peter Claffey

Peter Claffey (Portumna, 28 luglio 1996) è un attore irlandese.

Biografia

Peter Claffey è nato a Portumna e ha studiato al Garbally College e poi recitazione alla Bow Street Academy di Dublino. Ha giocato a rugby a 15 per il Galwegians RFC e nel 2015 si è unito alla Connacht Rugby Academy. Ha giocato per la nazionale irlandese under 20 e nel 2016 ha preso parte alle Sei Nazioni under 20. Nel 2018 è stato messo sotto contratto dal Connacht Rugby,[1] mentre nel 2019 si è unito al Terenure College RFC.

Nel 2022 ha fatto il suo debutto sulle scene in A Whistle in the Dark in cartellone all'Abbey Theatre.[2] Nello stesso anno ha esordito sul piccolo schermo nelle serie Harry Wild - La signora del delitto e Bad Sisters. Tra il 2022 e il 2024 ha interpretato Cormac nella serie televisiva Wreck.[3] Nel 2024 ha fatto il suo debutto cinematografico in Piccole cose come queste e ha interpretato il ruolo ricorrente di Joe in Bad Sisters. Nel 2026 interpreta il protagonista Ser Duncan in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.[4]
