Olly, pseudonimo di Federico Olivieri (Genova, 5 maggio 2001), è un rapper italiano.
Nato nel 2001 a Genova, la sua famiglia si è successivamente stabilita nel quartiere della Foce.[2] Durante i suoi primi studi musicali si iscrive al Conservatorio Niccolò Paganini della sua città natale, dove studia musica e canto.
La sua carriera musicale è iniziata nel 2016, quando ha formato il collettivo musicale Madmut Branco, con il quale ha pubblicato il suo primo progetto discografico, Piacere Mixtape.[3] L'anno successivo, invece, ha pubblicato il suo primo progetto da solista, l'EP Namaste,[4] in collaborazione con il rapper Matsby, da cui viene estratto il singolo Chiara Ferragni, in collaborazione con Alfa.[5]
Dopo alcuni anni di inattività, in cui si trasferisce nel Regno Unito per focalizzarsi sui suoi studi, dal 2018 riprende a pubblicare musica in Italia. Il 15 giugno dello stesso anno ha pubblicato l'EP CRY4U, da cui viene estratto il singolo Bla-Bla Car.[6][7]
Nel 2019 pubblica il singolo Bevi e partecipa al brano Black Room Posse dell'album dei producer Eames e FJLO.[8] A maggio pubblica Il primo amore, il suo primo successo da solista, che ha superato le 100 mila visualizzazioni su YouTube in una settimana.[9][10] Il 30 ottobre 2020 ha annunciato l'uscita di Io sono, il suo terzo EP contenente sette tracce di cui i singoli Mai e poi mai e Winston Blue, pubblicato il successivo 6 novembre.[11]
Nel 2021 ha pubblicato su Instagram una reinterpretazione di La notte di Arisa. Tale cover ha ottenuto particolare successo sulla piattaforma, tanto da essere successivamente pubblicata come singolo, intitolato La notte (RMX), in collaborazione con la stessa Arisa.[12][13] Nella primavera dello stesso anno ha ottenuto il suo primo contratto discografico con l'etichetta Aleph Records per Metatron, distribuita da Epic Records per Sony Music.[14] Nel mese di luglio è stato nominato "Artista del mese" nel programma MTV New Generation.[15]
L'anno successivo a settembre si esibisce al Goa-Boa Festival.[16] A novembre è stato confermato come uno fra i dodici artisti partecipanti a Sanremo Giovani 2022, festival musicale che ha selezionato sei artisti emergenti per il 73º Festival di Sanremo.[17] È riuscito a qualificarsi tra i primi sei con il brano L'anima balla, che gli ha permesso di prendere parte al Festival con il brano Polvere, classificandosi al ventiquattresimo posto.[18] Nel mese di aprile realizza il suo primo tour indoor, suonando a Perugia, Roma e Milano. Dopo aver ottenuto il completo Sold Out, inizia il tour estivo girando tutta Italia, portando avanti il sodalizio artistico con il suo produttore JVLI. Il 3 novembre pubblica il nuovo singolo A squarciagola, che porterà live nella sua unica data invernale al Fabrique di Milano il 10 dicembre 2023, registrando l'ennesimo successo. L'8 marzo 2024 ha pubblicato il brano Devastante.[19][20] Il 6 settembre è uscito il brano Per due come noi, in collaborazione con Angelina Mango e JVLI.[21][22] Successivamente annuncia nello stesso mese il tour invernale che partirà il 2 dicembre da Milano.[23]
