Carriera
Draft e minor league
Nel 2018 è stato selezionato dai Cubs al primo turno del Draft MLB (24ª scelta assoluta).[2]
Chicago Cubs (2019-)
Ha debuttato in MLB il 9 settembre 2019.[1]
Nel 2023 ha vinto il suo primo Gold Glove Award come seconda base della National League.[3] Nel 2025 ha conquistato il secondo Gold Glove in carriera.[4]
Stile di gioco
Gioca principalmente come interno di “mezzo” (seconda base e interbase). È particolarmente apprezzato per il rendimento difensivo e per la corsa sulle basi (basi rubate).[4]
