Mike Eman (Oranjestad, 1° settembre 1961) è un politico arubano e il Primo ministro di Aruba, in carica dal 28 marzo 2025.[1]. Leader del Partito del Popolo Arubano (AVP), è una figura centrale della politica del paese dopo aver già ricoperto lo stesso ruolo tra il 2009 e il 2017.
Biografia
Mike Erman è nato a Oranjestad e proviene da una famiglia con una lunga tradizione politica; suo nonno Shon A Eman ha fondato l'APV[2], mentre suo fratello Herry Eman è stato il Primo ministro di Aruba.[3] Ha studiato giurisprudenza presso l'università delle Antille Olandesi, laureandosi nel 1992.
Matrimonio
È sposato con Doina Eman, con la quale condivide l'impegno in numerose attività sociali sull'isola.[4]
Carriera politica
Ha guidato il governo dal 2009 al 2017 ed è tornato in carica nel marzo 2025 dopo la vittoria del 2024.
