Kobe Laron King (Detroit, 28 gennaio 2003) è un giocatore di football americano statunitense che milita nel ruolo di linebacker per i New York Jets della National Football League (NFL).
Carriera universitaria
Al college King giocò a football a Penn State dal 2021 al 2024. Nella prima stagione mise a segno 3 tackle.[1] Nel 2022 totalizzò 41 placcaggi, 3 passaggi deviati, un fumble recuperato e un touchdown.[2] Nel 2021 disputò 11 partite come titolare, con 59 tackle, un sack e un fumble recuperato.[3] Prima della stagione 2024 fu nominato uno dei capitani della squadra.[4] Quell'anno disputò tutte le 16 gare come titolare, con 97 placcaggi e 3 sack, venendo inserito nella seconda formazione ideale della Big Ten Conference.[4] A fine stagione decise di passare tra i professionisti.[4]
Carriera professionistica
Minnesota Vikings
King fu scelto nel corso del sesto giro (201º assoluto) del Draft NFL 2025 dai Minnesota Vikings.[5] Fu svincolato il 23 ottobre 2025 dopo avere giocato 77 snap negli special team e tre in difesa in cinque partite.[6]
New York Jets
Il 24 ottobre 2025 King firmò con i New York Jets.[7] La sua prima stagione si chiuse con 10 tackle in 14 presenze, nessuna delle quali come titolare.
Vita privata
King ha un fratello gemello, Kalen, che gioca come cornerback per i Carolina Panthers.[8]
