Grady Hendrix (Charleston, 14 dicembre 1972) è uno scrittore statunitense.

Biografia

Cresciuto nella Carolina del Sud,[1] ha lavorato come giornalista scrivendo per testate come Playboy[2] e Variety[3].

Dopo aver frequentato nel 2009 il Clarion Workshop all'Università della California - San Diego per aspiranti scrittori di fantasy e fantascienza[4], nel 2012 ha esordito nella narrativa dell'orrore con il romanzo Satan Loves You e ha raggiunto notorietà due anni dopo con Horrorstör.

Studioso di storia del genere horror, nel 2018 ha ricevuto il Premio Bram Stoker al saggio per il volume Paperbacks from Hell[5], un'analisi illustrata del mercato della narrativa horror tascabile degli anni '70 e '80[6].
