Freya Skye (17 ottobre 2009) è una cantante e attrice inglese.

Ha rappresentato il Regno Unito al Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022, dopo cui ha firmato un contratto discografico con Hollywood Records. Freya ha anche un accordo di gestione del talento per progetti con Disney Branded Television.[1] Come attrice, ha fatto il suo debutto cinematografico interpretando Nova Bright in Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires ed è apparsa in The Next Step.

Biografia

Freya Skye ha iniziato a cantare e recitare all'età di cinque anni. Ha vissuto vicino Londra, a Buckinghamshire e Hertfordshire. Ha un cane che si chiama Ruby. Durante la pandemia COVID-19, Skye ha iniziato a registrare le sue prime canzoni, tra cui Famous e Show Some Love.

Carriera

2022–2024: Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 e altre attività

Il 3 novembre 2022 è stato annunciato che avrebbe rappresentato il Regno Unito nel Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 a Erevan, in Armenia, con la canzone Lose My Head. Ha raggiunto la quinta posizione.[2]

Skye ha lavorato come doppiatrice di alcuni videogiochi come Final Fantasy XVI nel 2023. Ha fatto un'apparizione nella nona stagione della serie canadese The Next Step, cantando la canzone Love is a Lesson.[3]

Nel luglio 2024 ha pubblicato il singolo Walk Over con l'etichetta discografica Hollywood Records. Altri singoli pubblicati sono stati Someone to Love e Winter Dream.

2025–presente: Zombies 4 e Stardust

Nel 2025 realizza i singoli Can't Fake It, Who I Thought I Knew e Gold's Gone. Nell'estate dello stesso anno, Skye fa il suo debutto come Nova Bright nel film Zombies 4: L'ascesa dei vampiri, e prende parte al Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour.[4]

Nell'ottobre annuncia i suoi primi show da solista, intitolati Freya Skye: The Acoustic Shows, a Los Angeles, New York e Londra, previsti dal dicembre 2025 al gennaio 2026.[5] Nel dicembre 2025 pubblica il singolo silent treatment. In seguito, viene annunciato The Stars Align Tour negli Stati Uniti d'America, Canada, Europa e Australia.[6]

Il 4 febbraio 2026 viene pubblicato il suo primo EP, intitolato Stardust. Durante la creazione del progetto, Skye ha collaborato con parolieri e produttori come Julia Michaels, Mattman & Robin e Johan Carlsson.[7] L'EP ha debuttato alla posizione 35 della UK Albums Chart e alla posizione 74 nella Billboard 200.

Il 7 aprile 2026, il singolo silent treatment entra nella Billboard Hot 100 per la prima volta, raggiungendo in seguito la posizione 88.[8]
