Eucavitaves (Kimball et al., 2013)[1][2] è un clade di uccelli che contiene l'ordine Trogoniformes (trogoni) e il clade Picocoraciae (un insieme di uccelli che comprende picchi, martin pescatori, buceri e upupe).[3][4][5][6][7][8] Il nome Eucavitaves fa riferimento al comportamento comune di questi uccelli di costruire i loro nidi nella cavità degli alberi.
