Carriera universitaria
Miami
In tre anni a Miami Hurricanes dal 2020 dal 2022, Roberts disputò 20 partite, di cui una come titolare, totalizzando 21 tackle, 0,5 sack e un fumble forzato.[1][2][3] Alla fine della stagione 2022 annunciò che avrebbe cambiato istituto.[4]
SMU
Roberts nel 2023 si trasferì a giocare per gli SMU Mustangs.[5] Nella prima stagione disputò tutte le 14 partite come titolare, con 37 tackle, 10 sack e 2 fumble forzati,[6][7] venendo inserito nella seconda formazione ideale dell'American Athletic Conference honors.[8]

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Roberts fu scelto nel corso del quinto giro (157º assoluto) del Draft NFL 2025 dai Tampa Bay Buccaneers.[9] Nella sua prima stagione da professionista mise a segno 14 tackle, 2 sack, un fumble recuperato e 3 passaggi deviati disputando tutte le 17 partite, di cui 9 come titolare.
