Il Digital Markets Act (DMA) è un regolamento dell'Unione europea finalizzato a disciplinare l'economia digitale. Il regolamento è in vigore dal 1° novembre 2022.[1]
Il DMA ha lo scopo di garantire la concorrenza, impedendo alle grandi aziende di abusare del loro potere di mercato.[1]
Il caso Apple
L'App Store di Apple è stato preso di mira dal Digital Markets Act per quanto riguarda le sue pratiche.
Come risultato, l'8 luglio 2026 l'azienda di Cupertino ha perso il ricorso che aveva presentato. Questo involve il modo in cui le sue app vengono visualizzate nelle ricerche dell'App Store. Come risposta, Apple intende ritardare la distribuzione della nuova intelligenza artificiale in Europa.[2]
