La congolite è un minerale appartenente al gruppo della boracite.
Etimologia e storia
Il minerale è stato scoperto nel 1972, nel dipartimento di Kouilou, Repubblica del Congo.[1]

Il minerale cristallizza nel sistema trigonale.[1]
