In questa categoria di servizio sono elencate tutte le voci a cui uno o più utenti stanno lavorando. Per segnalare una voce utilizzare il template {{WIP}}.
Tutte le voci di Wikipedia sono aperte, cioè continuamente migliorabili e modificabili da chiunque. Non esistono voci personali (Fermi tutti ci lavoro solo io!).
Questa categoria esiste solamente per evitare le sovrapposizioni momentanee di due persone che, lavorando contemporaneamente sulla stessa voce, andrebbero in conflitto di edizione. Quindi ha una sua logica nell'arco temporale di qualche ora.
Al di là di questo tempo è contrario alle linee guida di Wikipedia mantenere l'avviso WIP, che verrà rimosso.
