Brady Cook (St. Louis, 12 ottobre 2001) è un giocatore di football americano statunitense che milita nel ruolo di quarterback per i New York Jets della National Football League (NFL).
Carriera universitaria
Al college Cook giocò a Missouri dal 2020 al 2024. Nell'ultima stagione passò 2.535 yard, 11 touchdown, 2 intercetti e segnò 5 touchdown su corsa, venendo premiato come miglior giocatore del Music City Bowl 2024 in cui passò 287 yard e 2 touchdown nella vittoria su Iowa.[1][2]
Carriera professionistica
New York Jets
Cook firmò con i New York Jets dopo non essere stato scelto nel Draft il 9 maggio 2025.[3] Il 26 agosto fu svincolato dopo di che rifirmò con la squadra di allenamento.[4][5] Il 6 dicembre, prima della partita della settimana 14 contro i Miami Dolphins, fu promosso nel roster attivo dopo che Justin Fields fu dichiarato inattivo.[6] Debuttò come professionista in quella partita subentrando all'infortunato Tyrod Taylor completando 14 passaggi su 30 per 163 yard e 2 intercetti subiti nella sconfitta per 34-10. Dopo quella gara, con Fields e Taylor entrambi indisponibili, fu nominato titolare per la sfida del quindicesimo turno in cui passó 176 yard, un touchdown e subì tre intercetti nella sconfitta per 48-20 contro i Jacksonville Jaguars.[7] Nel turno successivo fu confermato titolare malgrado Taylor si fosse ristabilito ma i Jets subirono un'altra pesante sconfitta contro i New Orleans Saints in cui passò 188 yard e subì un intercetto nel 29-6 finale.[8]
