Anthony Hill Jr. (Wichita, 14 febbraio 2005) è un giocatore di football americano statunitense che milita nel ruolo di tight end per i Tennessee Titans della National Football League (NFL).

Carriera universitaria

Stagione 2023

Hill si unì ai Texas Longhorns nel gennaio 2023 per potere prendere parte agli allenamenti primaverili.[1] Nella prima stagione disputò 14 partite, di cui 6 come titolare, con 67 tackle, 2 passaggi deviate, 5 sack e un fumble forzato. A fine anno fu premiato come Freshman All-American e come difensore dell’anno tra i debuttanti della Big 12 Conference.[2]

Stagione 2024

Nel 2024 Hill disputó tutte le 16 partite come titolare, con 113 placcaggi, 8 sack, un intercetto e 4 fumble forzati, venendo premiato come All-American e inserito nella formazione ideale della Southeastern Conference (SEC).[2]

Stagione 2025

Prima dell’inizio della stagione, Hill fu inserito nella lista dei giocatori da tenere d’occhio per il Lott Trophy, il Bronko Nagurski Trophy, il Butkus Award, il Walter Camp Award, il Chuck Bednarik Award e il Lombardi Award.[3][4] Nel secondo turno contro Sam Houston State forzò due fumble.[5] Nella settimana 6 contro Florida mise a segno 14 tackle e recuperò un fumble che ritornò per 21 yard.[5] Nella settimana 9 contro Mississippi State mise a referto 10 tackle, 2,5 sack e forzò un fumble venendo premiato come difensore della SEC della settimana, come Chuck Bednarik Player of the Week e come Walter Camp Defensive Player of the Week.[6][7] L’11 novembre fu nominato semifinalista del Chuck Bednarik Award.[8] Nella gara contro Georgia si infortunò a una mano, venendo costretto a perdere le ultime due partite della stagione.[9] Il 25 novembre fu nominato finalista del Butkus Award.[10] A fine anno fu inserito nella seconda formazione ideale della SEC e nella seconda formazione All-American.[11]

L’8 dicembre Hill annunciò che sarebbe passato tra i professionisti.[12]

Carriera professionistica

Tennessee Titans

Hill fu scelto dai Tennessee Titans nel corso del secondo giro (60º assoluto) del Draft NFL 2026.[13] Il 7 maggio firmò il suo contratto da rookie, un accordo quadriennale del valore di 8,11 milioni di dollari.[14]
