All You're Dreaming of è un singolo del cantautore britannico Liam Gallagher, pubblicato il 27 novembre 2020.

I proventi della pubblicazione del brano sono stati devoluti all'associazione benefica Action for Children.[1]

Descrizione

Il brano è nato durante il periodo di lockdown imposto dalla pandemia di COVID-19 ed è stato composto da Liam Gallagher e Simon Aldred.[2] A proposito della canzone, in un'intervista concessa a Radio X, Gallagher ha dichiarato:[2]

«L'abbiamo creata io e Simon Aldred. All'inizio della quarantena (imposta dalla pandemia di COVID-19, ndr) mi ha mandato alcune idee per la canzone e io gli ho mandato alcuni pezzi. Avevo uno studiolo di registrazione a casa mia, un posticino dove registrare la voce. Se sono fiducioso? Amico, l'ho registrata in boxer! Quindi siamo andati ad Abbey Road durante la quarantena. Un sacco di persone con la mascherina hanno registrato la parte di ottoni e le cazzo di trombe e tutta quella roba lì. Ho registrato la parte vocale ad Abbey Road e non era per niente bella come quella che ho registrato a casa con indosso i miei boxer. Così ho cestinato la voce registrata ad Abbey Road e ho usato quella registrata a casa. È una gran bella canzone, la amo.»

Video musicale

Il videoclip del brano è stato diffuso l'8 dicembre 2020 e vede la regia di Anthony Byrne, lo stesso della serie tv Peaky Blinders.[3] Contiene un riferimento a John Lennon, nel quarantennale del suo omicidio: la frase "This is not here" che si legge su una finestra è la stessa che compare nel video di Imagine.[3]
