Montiaceae[3] er ætt blómstrandi plantna, sem samanstendur af 14 ættkvíslum með um 230 þekktum tegundum,[4] með heimsútbreiðslu.

Ættin Montiaceae var nýlega mynduð (APG III system) og var hún skilin frá Portulacaceae.[2]
