Steven Universe adalah acara petualangan di Cartoon Network. Acara ini memfokuskan pada The Crystal gems (yang artinya batu permata kristal) dan Steven. Steven adalah anak yang hanya memiliki seorang ayah. Ibunya meninggal saat melahirkan Steven. Ia telah mengorbankan hidupnya demi Steven. Steven tinggal di rumah di tepi pantai. Rumah itu menghubungkan Kuil Permata. Garnet, Amethyst, dan, Pearl, adalah anggota batu kristal. Merekalah yang menjaga Steven. Steven memiliki Perisai. Yang dapat dipakai, tetapi terkadang Steven sendiri lupa caranya.

Di Indonesia, serial tersebut ditayangkan di Trans TV pada 26 Juni 2017 dan di NET. pada 9 November 2019 dengan alih suara Bahasa Indonesia.[1]

Tokoh utama

Steven Quartz Universe

Steven adalah anak dari Rose Quartz dan Greg Universe. Steven Merupakan tokoh utama. Dia memiliki banyak rasa ingin tahu. Dia sangat ingin terlibat dalam petualangan bersama Permata. Namun, Steven awalnya belum bisa mengendalikan kekuatannya. Yaitu, sebuah Perisai. Steven bisa melebur menjadi "Stevonnie" dengan temannya, Connie Maheswaran. Steven juga berteman dengan Tokoh Jahat, dan, menjadikan mereka Tokoh Baik. Steven juga punya kekuatan menyembuhkan dengan Ludahnya.

Garnet

Garnet merupakan anggota batu kristal. Dia sangat disiplin. Garnet merupakan hasil melebur dari Ruby dan Sapphire. Garnet merupakan yang paling kuat di tim. Senjata Garnet adalah sebuah Gaunlet. Garnet juga bisa melebur. Garnet ternyata suka bermain di Arcade

Amethyst

Amethyst merupakan anggota batu kristal. Pemalas, Suka tidur. Sebenarnya, Permata tidak memerlukan tidur. Namun, dia menyukainya. Amethyst, sangat membenci Pearl. Amethyst bisa berubah bentuk menjadi: Hewan, Manusia, Benda-Benda. Baju Amethyst berubah di season 2.

Pearl

Pearl merupakan anggota batu kristal. Sangat menyayangi Steven. Dia lebih mirip Ibu dibanding Garnet/Amethyst. Senjata Pearl adalah sebuah Tombak. Pearl pernah sekali tertikam pedang oleh versi hologramnya sendiri. Setelah pulih, baju Pearl berubah. Pearl membenci Amethyst karena tingkah lakunya. Pearl juga bisa melebur.

Karakter sekunder

Greg Universe

Greg merupakan ayah dari Steven. Greg bekerja di tempat Cuci mobil. Greg memiliki sebuah Mobil Van. Greg dulunya merupakan seorang Gitaris. Ia menikah dengan Rose Quartz.

Connie Maheswaran

Connie adalah teman dekat dan teman melebur. Connie awalnya merupakan seorang anak perempuan yang menyendiri. Setelah bertemu Steven, Connie menjadi lebih terbuka. Connie berlatih pedang bersama Pearl. Steven menyembuhkan mata Connie, Sehingga, Connie bisa melihat jelas. Namun, ia hanya melepas kacanya saja. Connie terkadang ikut berpetualang bersama Steven dan Permata.

Permata Homeworld

Lapis Lazuli

Lapis adalah seoranb permata. Ia pertama kali muncul sepenuhnya di "Ocean Gem". Ia ingin pulang, tetapi sayap airnya rusak. Namun, diperbaiki Steven. Lapis melebur dengan Jasper seorang Tokoh Jahat. Namun, ia semata-mata melakukan ini demi melindungi Steven. Malachite sekarang berada di bawah Laut. Namun, lokasinya tidak jelas. Di season 3 Malachite berubah lagi menjadi Jasper dan Lapis.

Jasper

Ia pertama kali muncul di episode "The Return". Ia adalah seorang Veteran dalam perang Homeworld. Ia saat ini telah melebur dengan Lapis. Namun di Season 3 saat ada guncangan kluster membuat Jasper jatuh ke jurang.

Peridot

Awalnya, Peridot merupakan tokoh antagonis. Namun, menjadi baik, karena Steven. Peridot adalah seorang Teknisi. Peridot sangat sebal karena benda-benda buatannya selalu dihancurkan. Setelah Peridot tertangkap, Steven memohon pada Permata, agar membiarakan Peridot bebas. Garnet pun setuju. Sehingga, Peridot tinggal di Kamar mandi nya Steven. Peridot juga pikir bahwa Sikat gigi adalah sebuah Senjata. Peridot awalnya, takut dengan Hujan. Akhirnya, Peridot bekerjasama dengan Permata.
