Sam Kee Building terletak di 8 West Pender Street di Vancouver, British Columbia dan terkenal sebagai bangunan komersial tersempit di dunia.

Pada pergantian abad ke-20, Sam Kee Company merupakan salah satu firma terkaya di Pecinan. Mereka membeli tanah ini sebagai lot berukuran standar tahun 1903, tetapi Kota memperlebar Pender Street tahun 1912 dan mengecilkan 24 kaki (7.3 m) lot itu.

Tahun 1913, arsitek Brown dan Gillam merancang bangunan besi sempit ini, berukuran 4'11" (1.5 m) di tingkat dasarnya dan 6 kaki (183 cm) di jendela tingkat kedua. Tingkat bawah tanahnya memanjang ke trotoar dan berisi kamar mandi umum, sementara tingkat dasarnya digunakan untuk perkantoran dan pertokoan dan tingkat teratas untuk penghunian.[1]

Rehabilitasi bangunan untuk Jack Chow dirancang oleh Soren Rasmussen Architect dan selesai tahun 1986.[2]

Bangunan ini dianggap sebagai bangunan komersial tersempit di dunia oleh Guinness Book of Records dan Ripley's Believe it or Not!, tetapi gelar ini telah disaingi oleh Skinny Building di Pittsburgh, yang hanya berukuran 5'2" (157 cm) lebarnya.[3][4]
