H. Rozali Usman, S.H. (01 Maret 1936 – 02 November 2013) adalah seorang pengusaha dan tokoh perbukuan nasional. Ia pernah menjabat sebagai Ketua Umum Ikatan Penerbit Indonesia (IKAPI) selama tiga periode berturut-turut dari tahun 1983 sampai 1998.[1]

Perusahaan

Rozali adalah pendiri dan pemilik PT Remaja Rosdakarya,[2] sebuah perusahaan penerbitan dan percetakan berskala besar yang berawal dari pendirian sebuah perusahaan penerbitan CV Remaja Karya pada 15 Mei 1961. Sampai saat ini PT Remaja Rosdakarya telah banyak mencetak serta menerbitkan buku-buku untuk keperluan dunia pendidikan nasional dan juga berbagai jenis buku bermutu lainnya yang beredar di seluruh tanah air dan juga mancanegara.[3]

Organisasi

Disamping sebagai Ketua Umum Ikatan Penerbit Indonesia (IKAPI), Rozali juga pernah aktif sebagai Ketua Umum Sulit Air Sepakat (SAS) periode 1973–1977 dan 1982–1984, serta berbagai organisasi lainnya.[4] SAS merupakan organisasi masyarakat perantauan dari nagari Sulit Air yang mempunyai kantor perwakilan di banyak daerah di Indonesia dan mancanegara, seperti Malaysia, Amerika Serikat dan Australia.[5]

Meninggal dunia

Rozali Usman merupakan putra Sulit Air, Solok, Sumatera Barat. Ia meninggal dunia di Rumah Sakit Santosa, Bandung, Jawa Barat pada tanggal 2 November 2013 pada usia 77 tahun,[6] bertepatan harinya dengan pembukaan event Indonesia Book Fair ke-33 yang diketuai oleh putrinya, Rosidayati Rozalina. Ia meninggal dunia setelah menderita sakit yang cukup lama.
