René-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle /ləˈsæl/ (22 November 1643 – 19 Maret 1687) adalah seorang penjelajah dan pedagang bulu Prancis abad ke-17 di Amerika Utara. Ia menjalajahi wilayah Danau-danau Besar di Amerika Serikat dan Kanada, Sungai Mississippi, dan Teluk Meksiko. Ia dikenal karena melakukan ekspedisi awal 1682 dimana ia mengarungi hilir Sungai Mississippi dari mulut Sungai Illinois sampai Teluk Meksiko. Di sana, pada 9 April 1682, ia mengklaim cekungan Sungai Mississippi untuk Prancis setelah memberikannya nama La Louisiane.[1][2]
