Raphael Aloysius Lafferty (7 November 1914 – 18 Maret 2002) adalah seorang penulis fiksi ilmiah dan fantasi asal Amerika yang dikenal atas pemakaian aslinya dari bahasa, metafora dan struktur naratif,[1] serta untuk kemampuan etimologinya. Ia juga menulis sebuah set empat novel autobiografi, In a Green Tree; sebuah buku sejarah, The Fall of Rome; dan beberapa novel fiksi sejarah.
